The map given to us for the trail was pretty misleading. After enquires, we found that the shop was at the junction of Sultan Gate and Baghdad Street and not the junction of Sultan Gate and Pahang Street. The burnt ruins of the shop stands on 39 Sultan Gate (or it could be 39 Baghdad Street). A fire in Dec 2006 had engulfed the shop, one of the oldest of its kind in Singapore. The shop has now relocated to 23, Defu Lane 4.
